Moonlight 03:05
When the night begins to fall And the moon begins to rise I can feel it in the dark I can see it in your eyes When I hold you in my arms Not a worry not a care Oh I love that buttery light As it sprinkles through your hair Oh the moonlight (moon light) Oh the moonlight (moon light) Now the moonlight fades and I'm alone Another lonely king on his lonely throne There never was a chance for us to be Imagination went and got the best of me I've learned that dreams they all do come to pass But that fleeting time is never quite enough Oh my dear how I miss you so I'll never hold you close in that sweet moonlight Oh the moonlight

Echoes so soft Memories drop off People fade out Running out of Running out of Time

Not Tonight 01:56
There was a time when we could have a talk There was a time when we could work things out by one o'clock That was a long long time ago my friend Now I don't think that we will talk again, oh not tonight Oh not tonight Oh not tonight Oh not tonight
4.
Sad Clown 02:38
Tears fall down They touch his cheeks and then they hit the ground Such little drops they hardly make a sound He stays that way until he turns around, and sees you there You sit there All alone in your little chair You've got your hand tangle in your hair More beautiful than anything he swears, but you don't care Notice me He thinks of all the things that you could be Could sail together across the sea Then he remembers what it's like to be, someone like he Now he glares He slams his angry fist against the stairs Thinks to himself that it isn't fair Just wants to hold you like a teddy bear, but they would stare

When you start to get real down There's a point that you may reach Where you think it can't get worse, but you may find that you're dead wrong You gotta Step up Make yourself feel better Now you go and get your Chin up Just know that it gets better Oh oh oh oh There's no perfect way to fix your life You just got to make the effort If you're sitting on your butt, well then good luck getting out of that rut Just know you're Worth it You're like no one ever was Just know you're Perfect You'll be floatin' like a feather Now you've got a Good, good start towards forever Good, good start towards forever, ever

When I saw her She set my heart aflame And in that moment I knew she had to be mine (had to be mine) Because the light goes on And I'm lost again The light goes on And I can't pretend Because I'm running out of Ways to lie to myself Can't keep chasing Memories I can't imagine My life without her It seems so crazy I thought she'd never be mine Because the light goes on And now I see it clearly Light goes on and I can see she's nearly Falling now I think I'm Falling in love Light goes on And I can't get enough

about

"Close Harmonies (And Other Drugs)" is my first of hopefully many albums. The album chronicles my life experiences to this point with a seven song arc that features a three piece horn section, a three piece string section, and a strong rhythm section. "Close Harmonies" is heavily influenced by blues and jazz and is deeply rooted in Charlottesville, Virginia.
